Adele’s “Easy on Me” returns to No. 1 on this week’s Digital Song Sales chart, Billboard’s ranking of the tracks that actually sold the most copies in the U.S. The tune climbs a few spots, selling about 14,600 copies. As the British singer conquers the list again, the highest-ranking debut this frame helps the musician behind the popular cut make history among his countrymen.
Jin, best known as one of the seven members of the K-pop band BTS, debuts his solo single “Yours” at No. 2 on this week’s Digital Song Sales chart. The musician’s tune launches in the runner-up space with nearly 13,200 copies sold, according to information shared by MRC Data. The placement is huge for Jin, and it helps him do what very few men from his home nation of South Korea have managed in America.
As “Yours” opens in second place, Jin becomes just the fourth solo South Korean musician to place a song inside the top two on the Digital Song Sales chart.

Psy became the first South Korean artist working on his own to chart a top two smash on the Digital Song Sales chart, and to this day, he remains the only one to rise all the way to No. 1. The groundbreaking star’s “Gangnam Style” dominated the purchase-only tally, and while BTS have matched his performance (more than once), no other solo acts from the Asian nation have managed to do so, though several have come very close.
Two other BTS members have also debuted songs at No. 2 on the Digital Song Sales chart, and that position seems to be a lucky one for the musicians in the most successful K-pop band of all time. Fellow performers Suga and V have also placed cuts in the runner-up space. The former did so under his Agust D pseudonym, as his single “Daechwita” peaked at No. 2 in June of 2020. Less than three months prior, V’s “Sweet Night” did the same.
In addition to Psy, Suga, V, Jin and BTS, the only other South Korean musical act of any kind that has managed to find themselves inside the top two on the Digital Song Sales chart is Blackpink. The beloved girl group has nearly reached the No. 1 slot twice, as both “How You Like That” and “Ice Cream” with Selena Gomez have stalled one rung shy of the throne.
