Stock Market Opening: The budget session of the Parliament is starting from today and along with it the Economic Survey for the financial year 2023-24 will also be presented today. Today the signs are looking good for the market and the domestic stock market has managed to open with a boom. Although the Sensex and Nifty are trading in the red mark within the opening minutes after the market opens.
How did the market open today
At the beginning of today’s market, the BSE Sensex opened at 59,770 with a gain of 270.42 points, or 0.45 per cent. NSE’s Nifty opened at 17,731 with a gain of 82.50 points, or 0.47 per cent.

Only 9 out of 30 Sensex stocks are seeing a boom and 11 of its stocks are trading with a decline. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 31 are witnessing decline and 19 stocks are trading with gains.

Power Grid, M&M, Maruti Suzuki, Bharti Airtel, SBI, Reliance Industries, UltraTech Cement and Titan are seeing gains in Sensex stocks.

Among the Sensex stocks that are seeing a decline, there is weakness in the shares of Tata Motors, HDFC Bank, HDFC, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Bank, Tata Steel, Wipro and HUL. NPC, ITC, Bajaj Finserv, Sun Pharma, IndusInd Bank, Asian Paints, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Nestle, TCS, L&T, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra are also trading in the red.
How was the market in pre-open
In the pre-opening of today’s market, the BSE Sensex was at the level of 59912.22 with a gain of 411.81 points i.e. 0.69 per cent. Apart from this, the Nifty of NSE was trading at the level of 17756.40 with a gain of 107.45 points i.e. 0.61 percent.
