Car Dealers In India Are Selling Fake JBL Music Systems How Can We Identify Real Or Fake Product

Fake JBL Music Systems : Are you thinking of buying a new music system for your car? If yes, then you need to be very careful before buying. We are saying this because news has come to the fore that many car car accessories dealers in India are selling fake products. To tackle this issue JBL’s parent company Harman and Infinity are taking legal action against those involved in manufacturing and selling counterfeit JBL and Infinity car audio products in India. Let us know about this in detail.

Raid on fake product
Harman has raided three markets of Bangalore. During the raid, it was found that four car aftermarket dealers were selling fake JBL and Infinity products. Harman’s investigation team along with law enforcement officials seized more than 500 counterfeit products. The team found that these people were selling counterfeit goods by keeping JBZ and IGL names similar to JBL mark. Now legal action has been taken against the criminals.

Raid in Delhi in 2022
According to the information, Harman had conducted similar raids in 2022 as well. The company had also involved law enforcement officials in its raids. In this raid of 2022, stocks of JBL and Infinity fake products were seized from car accessories shops located in the country’s capital Delhi.

How do you defend yourself?
Now the biggest question is that how can the general public protect itself from such fake products..? For this, it is advised by experts that you look for high quality material. Pay attention to the details written on the product. Pay attention to the product packaging and logo. Observe the color carefully. If you find the product lighter than the information given, then it may be fake. Check the weight of that particular product from the official website on the internet. Also, even if it smells bad, it could be a fake as paint might have been pasted on the product. If buying online, check the reputation of the seller by reading customer reviews. To identify the authorized seller, try to see his Authorized Retailer/Dealer certificate.
