Sharing a store from his official Instagram, the RCB star batsman wrote, “I will miss the Red and Gold Army at Chinnaswamy. It doesn’t matter where I am, I will always cheer for you (RCB). Patidar is out of the tournament this season due to his heel injury. In the last season of IPL, Rajat was the third highest run scorer for RCB. He scored 333 runs at an average of 55.50 while playing 8 matches for the team. This also included a century scored in the Eliminator match against Lucknow Super Giants. Rajat plays for Madhya Pradesh in domestic cricket.

Rajat made his IPL debut in 2021, since then he has played a total of 12 matches in the tournament.
