Australia New PM Anthony Albanese Wants Climate Change Discussion In Quad | Quad: Australia’s new PM said

Australian New PM Anthony Albanese on Quad: Australia’s new Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said on Tuesday that his government was committed to working closely with the Quad countries. Their goals are aligned with the priorities of the Quad countries. He told the leaders of the US, India and Japan that he also wanted to discuss climate change. Australia’s Labor Party leader Albanese, who was sworn in as his country’s 31st prime minister a day earlier, also said that the Quad stands together for a “free and open Indo-Pacific”.

Australian PM Anthony Albanese, who is attending the Quad summit, said that we will work by recognizing that climate change is the main economic and security challenge for the island countries of the Pacific Ocean. The Australian government will set a new target of 43 percent reduction in emissions by 2030 and move towards net-zero emissions by 2050. The new PM of Australia said that as the Indo-Pacific region has reshaped, the Quad partnership is needed now more than ever. Now special attention is needed in this direction.
