Pyongyang. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has imposed a nationwide lockdown from Thursday after receiving the first case of corona virus in the country. Kim called it a national emergency. The North Korean dictator ordered the authorities to increase the COVID-19 Preventive Measures to the maximum level to prevent the spread of corona infection. Two years after the start of the corona epidemic, the first corona infected has been found in Pyongyang. After which strict rules were announced regarding Corona.

The Korean Central News Agency said that some people had a Kovid test in the capital Pyongyang on Thursday. In this, a person was found infected with the Omicron variant of Corona. The patient has been isolated.
Necessary precautions are being taken. Indefinite lockdown has been imposed in the country.

The agency said that after the case of Corona came to light, Kim Jong Un called a meeting of the ruling Korean Workers’ Party Politburo, where members decided to increase its anti-virus measures. During this meeting, Kim Jong Un has ordered the authorities to stabilize the corona transmission and eliminate the source of infection as soon as possible.

At the beginning of the epidemic, where all the countries were battling the corona virus. Then North Korea made a shocking claim of zero Kovid case here. To prevent the spread of the corona virus, North Korea imposed restrictions on itself, after which news of shortage of food items started coming from there. In January 2020, North Korea closed all borders along its border with China for almost two years.
