Ace actor Manoj Bajpayee has filed a criminal defamation case against internet personality Kamaal R Khan in an Indore court. This is not the first time that Kamaal R Khan, also known as KRK, has faced a defamation case. Earlier this year, he was the subject of a lawsuit filed by actor Salman Khan. PTI reports that Manoj Bajpayee filed the complaint against KRK under IPC section 500 (punishment for defamation). The actor’s lawyer, Paresh S Joshi said in a press release that they have urged the court to register a criminal defamation case in the matter.
The lawyer referred to a tweet posted by KRK on July 26 which allegedly tarnished Manoj Bajpayee’s reputation. In a slew of tweets, KRK has compared the hit show The Family Man to ‘soft porn’ and made comments on his wife and on his daughter’s relationship status. That’s not all – KRK has also called Manoj Bajpayee a “ganjedi”.
