The current government of Nepal, headed by Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has the support of 10 political parties including Nepali Congress, Maoist Center, Integrated Samajwadi. And, today’s floor test has proved that this ruling coalition has proved that there is no threat to the government of Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at present. He won a vote of confidence in Parliament on Monday.

172 votes in support inside the house

According to Nepali media, out of total 262 members present in the House, 172 votes were cast in support of the PM of Nepal. 89 voted against him and one abstained. During this, a special thing was also that the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (Raswpa) decided to give confidence support to the party of the Prime Minister of Nepal.

At the same time, the Democratic Samajwadi Party also decided to give him a vote of confidence. It is being told that earlier in the meeting of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party, a whip was issued to the members of the House of Representatives to give a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. At the same time, after that, in the meeting of the parliamentary party, it was decided to support the trust vote.

CPN-UML was separated from the ruling party

Nepal Communist Party is the third largest political party in the country. The president of the party is Pushpa Kamal Dahal. He came to power with the support of KP Sharma Oli-led party CPN-UML (Communist Party of Nepal- Unified Marxist Leninist) besides other small parties. Then two months after the formation of the government, the presidential elections started in Nepal.

During this time there was a split in the alliance. The result was that Dahal left the CPN-UML and turned to other parties. Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda joined Nepal’s largest party- Nepali Congress before the presidential election and then formed another alliance of 10 parties and gave floor test today.
