Pakistan Another Senior Leader Quits Imran Khan Party Over May 9 Violence

Pakistan: After the violence in Pakistan, Imran Khan’s difficulties are not taking the name of abatement. One by one the veteran leaders of his party are sidelining him. Now Imran Khan’s close friend and senior PTI leader Firdous Ashiq Awan has resigned from the party. Resigning from PTI, he said that former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Pakistan cannot walk together.

Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, former Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Punjab, has condemned the incident of May 9. Leaving the party, he claimed that after Imran’s arrest, riots in Pakistan were planned in Zaman Park. He said that the conspiracy was prepared in Zaman Park under foreign agenda. Its purpose was to disrespect the national institutions of Pakistan and to please foreign masters.

The foundation and ideology of Pakistan was attacked

Firdous Ashiq Awan, a former minister in the Imran Khan government, has said that she is parting ways with the PTI over the party’s “violent and terrorist activities”. He said that those who insulted the martyrs attacked the foundation and ideology of Pakistan.

Imran Khan uses it like tissue paper

Awan has claimed that differences were going on between him and Imran Khan for the last one year. Because of this, she was not active these days regarding the party. In a press conference at the Islamabad Press Club, he said, “Imran Khan’s agenda is like poison for Pakistan and I am also a victim of this agenda.” Awan alleged that PTI chief Imrankha used people like ’tissue paper’ and fired them when ‘their work was done’. This is the reason why today PTI is on the verge of disintegration.

Political journey will continue

Firdous Ashiq Awan, who broke ties with PTI, says that her political journey will continue and she will continue to work for the country. He said that my journey with PTI is coming to an end today. If God wills, our political journey will continue.
