Russia Ukraine War: In the Russia-Ukraine war, western countries are helping the Ukrainian army with their military equipment. Ukraine has demanded modern and more deadly battle tanks, cannons and planes from NATO countries including America (USA), which are also being given to it. Today, Germany has approved the delivery of its most lethal ‘Leopard Tank’ to Ukraine.
14 Leopard-2 tanks will be sent from Germany to Ukraine
Ukraine’s army can give a big challenge to Russia after getting Germany’s dangerous Leopard-2 tank. According to weapons experts, this tank is so powerful that with its help Ukraine can make a graveyard of Russian tanks. However, Russia does not lack big and heavy weapons. Significantly, it has been a year since the face-to-face fight between Russia and Ukraine started.
Russia-Ukraine face-to-face war from 2022
In February 2022, Russia attacked Ukraine in the name of a special military operation. Russia says that the government of Ukraine, along with Western countries, is becoming a part of the American conspiracy against Russia. Russia made many more allegations on the government of Ukraine and tried to reach Kyiv by sending Russian army.
Kyiv is the capital of Ukraine. Giving a tough challenge, the Ukrainian army stopped the Russian army from entering many cities. Now the fight between these two countries is going to be more deadly because Ukraine has started getting heavy resources from Germany, Poland, America and Britain.
On Friday, Germany issued authorization to send 14 Leopard-2 tanks to Ukraine, which will give more strength to Ukraine, as it is demanding heavy weapons to counter the Russian army. Germany has already said that it will give Ukraine a lot of military hardware from its military stockpile.
When asked about the Leopard-2 tank, German government spokesman Stefan Hebestreit told a press briefing, “I can confirm that an export license has been issued to Ukraine.”
