29 years ago on this day we got a young actor on the big screen who promised us big things and delivered a lot more than his expectations… and continues to do so. Shah Rukh Khan marked his debut on this very day 29 years back with Deewana (1992), which also starred Rishi Kapoor and Divya Bharti. Shah Rukh Khan was outstanding in his performance and his lifelong journey to romance the big screen began with a bang.
Shah Rukh Khan fans have been tweeting about his 29 years since the last couple of days making sure that this day is celebrated in a special way on social media. SRK who’s known to always give his time to his fans, took to his Twitter profile and shared a sweet message for all the good and overwhelming wishes. He said, “Been working. Just saw the ’overwhelmed ness’ of the love of nearly 30 yrs u r showering on me here. Realised it’s more than half my life in the service of hoping to entertain u all. Will take out time tomorrow & share some love back personally. Thx needed to feel loved….”
Now, isn’t that cool.
Shah Rukh Khan had won the Filmfare Best Debut award back then. Deewana was a huge hit at the box-office and SRK who had dabbled with small screen before made a thunderous debut on the big screen. His magic continues… and even 29 years are not enough for us to have more of him. Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Zero (2018) and he will soon work on YRF’s action-drama Pathan and then will begin shooting for Rajkumar Hirani’s next.
