The 10 Most-Streamed Songs In Korea In April

Just as on the latest monthly ranking of the most popular songs in South Korea, singer-songwriter IU occupies four spaces inside the top 10 on the monthly chart of the most-streamed tracks in the Asian nation in April.

The Gaon Streaming chart ranks most-streamed individual songs in South Korea every week, and it also has a monthly component.

IU tops the monthly chart of the most-streamed songs in South Korea with her smash “Lilac,” which served as the title track and the latest single from her new album of the same name, which was itself a bestseller as well. The powerhouse musician also appears at No. 3 with “Celebrity,” No. 6 with “Coin” and No. 9 with “Take My Hand.”

K-pop girl group Brave Girls continue their incredible 2021 by filling two spaces inside the top 10 on the list of the most-streamed songs in April in their home country, as “Rollin’” declines by just one space from where it ranked last month while “We Ride” appears at No. 5, rocketing more than 60 spaces month-over-month.

New inside the top 10 is “Peaches” by Justin Bieber, Giveon and Daniel Caesar, which has turned out to be a massive hit in South Korea, which isn’t terribly common for releases from Western acts.

Blackpink member Rosé released her first solo single album earlier in 2021, and the songs from the set are still performing extremely well in South Korea. In April, “On The Ground” ranked as the seventh-most-streamed tune in the nation.

Down five spaces is “Dynamite” by BTS, and two rungs further in last place (with an IU hit separating the two) comes Yang Yo-seob and Jung Eun-ji’s “Love Day 2021,” which falls half a dozen spaces from last period.

These were the 10 most-streamed songs in South Korea last month.
