US H-1B Visa: The US Citizenship and Immigration Services has said that the H-1B visa limit for the financial year 2024, starting on October 1, has been reached. The US federal agency issued a statement on Monday (March 27) saying that enough electronic registrations have been received for the initial round to reach the H-1B cap.
Master cap has also been included under the exemption in advance degree in electronic registration. He further said that we have randomly selected registrations submitted appropriately to reach the cap and have sent information to all potential applicants as per the selected registrations.

Annual regular limit 65,000
The US Congress had decided to fix the maximum number of H-1B visas at 65,000. Of this, 6,800 visas are set aside under the terms of the law implementing the US-Chile and US-Singapore Free Business Agreements.
Unused visas in this group become available for use against the regular H-1B cap in the next fiscal year. The H-1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows US companies to hire foreign workers.
