Vladimir Putin Arrest Warrant International Criminal Court On Russia And Ukraine China Big Reaction

Vladimir Putin Arrest Warrant: China has objected to the International Criminal Court (ICC) issuing an arrest warrant against Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Chinese Foreign Ministry said today (on Monday, March 20) that the International Court of Justice should avoid ‘double standards’ and respect the immunity of heads of state.

Let us tell you that many Western countries, including the US, have welcomed the issuance of an arrest warrant against Russian President Vladimir Putin on charges of war crimes, but China has slammed the International Criminal Court (ICC) for this decision. China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said the court should maintain an objective and impartial stance and respect the immunity of heads of state from jurisdiction under international law. Wang also urged the court to avoid politicization and double standards.

China’s statement also came on Russia-Ukraine war
Apart from this, comments were also made on the Russia-Ukraine war by the Chinese Foreign Ministry. The Foreign Ministry spokesman said that the solution to the Ukraine conflict is only dialogue and negotiation. Apart from this, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry also gave a statement about the visit of its President Xi Jinping to Russia. Xi arrived in Moscow on Monday, where he will now hold talks with Putin and sign an agreement before returning to Beijing on Wednesday. Wang said about this, “The two sides (Russia and China) will practice genuine multilateralism, build a multipolar world. At the same time, they will improve global governance and contribute to the world’s development and progress.”

Decision to issue arrest warrant is correct: Biden
At the same time, before China, the US President had reacted to the decision of the International Criminal Court (ICC). However, his opinion was completely opposite to that of China. In response to a question from journalists on the matter related to the arrest of the President of Russia, US President Joe Biden said that Russian President Vladimir Putin has committed a war crime, and the decision to issue his arrest warrant is correct.
