Viral Video: Police officers in Vermont, USA, were taken by surprise when they went to arrest a suspect and his father attacked him with a construction grade excavator. The Vermont State Police shared the video of the incident on its Facebook page and gave information about the whole matter.
State police said two men arrived in Hardwick to arrest a suspect in connection with an attack and theft at a home. However, “the suspect’s parents attempted to obstruct the arrest, and eventually the suspect’s father attempted to attack the soldiers using an excavator.”

In the clip, the suspect’s father is seen turning the excavator on the jawans. The suspect’s mother is also seen restraining the officers and holding her son. This video shared by the Vermont State Police is becoming increasingly viral. It has been seen by 5 lakh 76 thousand people so far while 1200 people have commented on it.

Fortunately, the soldiers did not suffer any damage and were able to arrest all the parties involved without any injuries, the state police said. The constables arrested the accused on charges of assault, burglary, unlawful mischief and resisting arrest.
The suspect’s father was also arrested on charges of grievous assault on a protected officer, resisting arrest and imminent and reckless endangerment. While a notice was also issued to the mother.
