There was a very violent demonstration, vehicles were set on fire. Paludan had played an important role in all this.

He hit headlines last year too when he announced that he would go on a “Quran burning tour” during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan and start setting fires to the holy book in places with a predominance of Muslim residents.
