Earlier this week Yo Yo Honey Singh’s wife Shalini Talwar had filed a physical and mental abuse case against him. The case falls under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act and Shalini revealed few details of being treated like a farm animal and subjected to cruelty. Today according to reports in E Times, Shalini has reportedly sought a compensation of Rs 10 Crore from her rapper husband.
According to a report in a news portal, Shalini’s lawyer revealed that the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Tania Singh has also issued notice to Honey Singh directing him not to alienate or create any third party rights in the property that is owned by both of them in Noida. The notice also states that he is neither supposed to dispose of his wife’s jewellery.
Honey and Shalini got married in 2011 but it was only 2014 that his marriage was public. It is said that the rapper didn’t want his ‘marital’ image to interrupt his career. Honey Singh allegedly lost his calm when the news broke out and mercilessly beat her up. The rapper reportedly thought that it was his wife who’d leaked the pictures. Shalini even said in her statement that Honey Singh had several affairs outside marriage and was cheating on her.
Honey Singh has yet to release his statement on this whole issue.
